Looks remarkably similar to how the Western establishment currently pours money into the Trans movement, "climate emergency" activists, DEI, Antifa, etc.
Contrary to Gubarevs predictions Russia eventually showed itself willing to take on not just western sanctions, but semi-permanent and extensive ones. The social disarray and incompetence he points to is still evident, but do recent events show the Russian state was more powerful than he thought?
Thanks very much for this perspective.
